Business Development Professional

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Quad Cities area and surrounding regional markets, including Dyersville, Iowa City, Dubuque, Peoria, Cedar Rapids, Rockford, Muscatine, Burlington, and others. The ideal candidate will have mid-level experience in business development, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within determined territories.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver customized solutions for clients by collaborating with internal design, fabrication, and installation teams.
• Represent Edwards Creative at networking events, industry trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and business growth objectives.

Qualifications:

• 5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and market analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for client service.
• Knowledge of the regional market and the ability to travel within the surrounding areas as needed.

Large Format Preflight Specialist

Edwards Creative is seeking a Large Format Preflight Specialist to join our team. The ideal person understands basic design principles as well as strong interest in production. He or she will be responsible for setting up files for large format solvent/UV prints, flatbed prints, CNC router cutting, laser cutting/etching, plotted graphics as well as preparing detailed instructions for graphic installations. Candidate will coordinate with project managers, designers, production specialists, and installers. There will be opportunities for minor design projects.
Training for this role will be provided; however, there will be an expectation of software knowledge, file preparation skills, and basic print production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with our project management, design, production, and fabrication teams.
  • Coordinate with managers concerning schedules and deadlines, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to adhere to project deadlines.
  • Adjust native files (usually in Adobe Illustrator) to print specifications, customer requirements, press limitations, and production requirements.
  • Ability to recognize the techniques needed to accomplish desired production results.
  • In depth understanding of materials and how to set up files appropriately.
  • In depth understanding of equipment and how to set up files appropriately.
  • Ensure that design layouts for print and cutting maximize media utilization while focusing on quality output.
  • Manage quality control of artwork before it goes to print.
  • Proof all jobs for accuracy, content, color, size, and production requirements.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Efficient and accurate output of projects
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to details
