If you’ve stopped into our showroom recently, you may have heard the buzzzzz of a few drills, smelled some fresh wood, and may have gotten a little drywall dust on your shoe. Well, we apologize for the mess, but we think we have a pretty good excuse…we’re expanding our services!
It was starting to get a bit cramped in here. And it was time to make space for our growing team. So, being the creative geniuses that we are, we decided to custom-build a new administrative wing — right here under the dome. Our own team designed, fabricated, and installed two new offices, a conference room, and 3 workspaces in a matter of a few weeks. We also re-built the staff break room to include recliners to make sure our hard-working creatives get all the rest they deserve.
We’re happy to announce that we have 2 new incredibly talented graphic designers on our team. Clint Thomas and Danny O’Leary bring over 45 years of combined graphic design experience with them, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Clint approaches projects with a unique artistic style and specializes in developing interface designs for interactive media. Danny is a true master at sketching and incorporating historical themes and designs into his creations. We are absolutely ecstatic to have these two on our team!
With over 30 years of exhibit design, fabrication, and installation experience, we thought it was about time we enter the world of museums. While we were confident that our capabilities would serve the museum world well, this was uncharted territory for us. We knew we needed to get the right people on board to kick-start the Museum Services Department – and we think we hit the nail on the head.
We started with Julia Evans, an expert when it comes to the innerworkings of museums and project management. As our Museum Services Project Manager, she is able to apply appropriate management techniques to large and small-scale museum projects. With nearly 10 years of experience working in museums and nonprofits throughout the Midwest and a master’s degree in museum studies, she truly understands museums and inside and out. We’re so excited to have her on the team!
When Tim Wren joined our team, we knew were going to be in good hands. He has over 13 years of experience in the museum services industry, and his unique knowledge of interactive media development and museum exhibits has resulted in over 200 installations across the country! Wow! With a background in sales and market expansion, his commitment to forming unique client relations and creating meaningful visitor experiences is second to none. As Director of Museum Services, he’ll give us the momentum we need as we move forward into the world of museum services.
