Baseball: America’s Pastime 

Edwards Creative partnered with the McLean County Museum of History to transform an underutilized gallery into a vibrant, immersive exhibition celebrating the region’s rich baseball heritage. Beginning with exhibit planning, our team reimagined the vacant space into a dynamic destination that blends local history with engaging visitor experiences. From exhibit planning and design through fabrication and installation, Edwards Creative delivered a complete turnkey solution that revitalized the gallery while creating a compelling environment for visitors of all ages to explore the people, places, and traditions that have shaped baseball in McLean County.

The completed exhibition combines museum-quality artifact displays with custom-built interactives and immersive environments, including a historical timeline, uniform gallery, pitch recognition challenge, vintage baseball fan bedroom, manual scoreboard, baseball trivia stations, interactive map of local ballfields, announcer sound booth, and audio experiences featuring historic broadcasts and crowd sounds. By transforming an unused gallery into an engaging permanent exhibition, Edwards Creative created a flexible, family-friendly destination that celebrates the community’s deep connection to America’s pastime while encouraging visitors to play, learn, and experience baseball history in new ways.
