Twenty years later, Edwards Creative has evolved into a national creative services leader, focusing its expertise on bringing stories to life through immersive museum exhibits, captivating corporate environments, impactful tradeshow experiences, and memorable events.   Our focus is centered around the power of well-crafted stories to engage, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.   While our roots remain in printing production and design, Edwards Creative has expanded our reach nationwide, crafting immersive experiences that resonate. Looking ahead, we're committed to pushing creative boundaries, embracing cutting-edge technologies, and fostering deeper connections between our clients and their audiences.

2015 marked the beginning of another adventurous chapter in the Edwards Creative's story. The arrival of a seasoned professional, a former colleague of Steve's, injecting invaluable expertise, enabling the launch of in-house fabrication services. This expansion catapulted Edwards Creative into the realm of custom design/build projects, dramatically broadening our creative capabilities and horizons. Following the fabrication shop's launch, Edwards Creative organically expanded into custom tradeshow builds, centered around delivering unique and memorable client experiences. This led to a strategic partnership with a local agency's museum sector, providing the Edwards Creative team invaluable experience in crafting museum exhibits. Driven by a shared vision, several design professionals from the partner agency integrated with Edwards Creative, forming a dedicated museum services team and expanding our service line expertise into a whole new market!

The first real growth surge came from an unexpected source: vehicle wraps. Edwards Creative pioneered this service in the Quad Cities, building the market from the ground up. As the first local vendor to offer this innovative service, Edwards Creative eventually began training vehicle wrappers across the region. Today, we have evolved our approach, partnering with trusted local vendors. Edwards Creative focuses on the design, and experienced partners handle the wrapping, ensuring clients always receive top-notch results.

Edwards Creative wasn't always the creative powerhouse you see today. Initially, we operated primarily as a print shop, but with a key distinction: we were designers who also printed. This wasn't just a technical service; it was a creative partnership. Steve, our founder, was the linchpin. He understood the design process intimately, and his dedication to delivering exceptional quality quickly earned him the trust of clients. That trust became the foundation building blocks for Edwards Creative.

Running a growing business from the basement of your house wasn't exactly an ideal creative hub. Needing more space (and higher ceilings), Edwards Creative moved to its first brick-and-mortar building in 2006, in a cozy spot on 10th Avenue West in Milan, IL. However, cozy quickly turned into cramped because within a year, we had already outgrown the space and moved to a larger one on 2nd Street W in Milan, IL. Fast forward to October 1st, 2012, and Edwards Creative was on the move again, this time to the iconic former Flooring Express "dome," conveniently located across the street in Milan, IL, which is where we currently operate. It was the perfect fit, centrally located, and enough space to allow Edwards Creative to eventually expand their production shop and service lines

Now, starting a business isn't all sunshine and rainbows. First things first, Steve needed some serious equipment to support his creative services dream. So, he did what any resourceful entrepreneur would do – he pulled together financial support. A bit from the bank, and a bit from his family, and with that the next chapter in his story unfolded. Seeing the vast story that had yet to be written, his wife Cathy decided to officially join the team three months after opening - and together, they became the dynamic duo of Edwards Creative. They quickly brought on the first employees, a  graphic designer and a salesman. The team was small, but their dreams were HUGE.
