Golf House Iowa

The creation of Golf House Iowa is the new permanent home to preserve, promote, and protect the game of golf in the great state of Iowa. A space for educating golfers with areas to promote and teach the game, and office space for the Iowa Golf Association, IGA Foundation, Iowa Golf Course Superintendents Association and First Tee – Central Iowa.

In 2023, the Iowa Golf Association teamed up with Edwards Creative. Their mission? To safeguard, champion, and celebrate the essence of golf through meticulously crafted exhibits, immersive AV experiences, and artifacts that tell the storied history of golf in Iowa.

 The goal was to enhance the visibility and recognition of the history of golf in Iowa, instilling a deeper appreciation for its significance within the overall landscape of golf. Celebrating the victories of revered champions like Zach Johnson and Jack Fleck, alongside commemorating the prestigious major championships hosted on Iowa’s hallowed golf courses. Additionally, acknowledging the profound global influence of Iowa-based entities such as Standard Golf on the evolution of the sport.

 Featured exhibits include a captivating theater experience driven by a compelling 5-minute feature film chronicling the rich history of golf in Iowa. Interactive database stations provide visitors with the opportunity to delve deeper into the legacies of Iowa’s greatest players and influential figures who have left an indelible mark on the game. Custom built exhibits spotlight the legendary figures, companies and courses that have shaped the landscape of golf, captivating visitors with their stories and contributions.

The culmination of Edwards Creative’s efforts resulted in the creation of a modern exhibit space that serves as a captivating homage to the rich history of golf in Iowa. Every detail of the exhibit, from its initial planning, layout, design, fabrication and installation was carefully curated, providing visitors with an unforgettable experience that educates and inspires.
