From initial concept to completion, Edwards Creative was honored to tell the story of Camp Grant and its legacy in Rockford, Illinois. This exhibit highlights Camp Grant’s profound impact on the men and women who served there and its generational influence on the local community.
This permanent exhibition traces Camp Grant’s history from its start during early World War I through current-day Rockford International Airport. The custom-built exhibit features key artifacts from recent acquisitions and emphasizes the camp’s significance in Rockford and the surrounding areas from World War I to World War II.
Camp Grant played a pivotal role in shaping Rockford’s development, economy, and community. Edwards Creative collaborated with Midway Village to assess the available exhibit space, determine the core narratives, and showcase the most significant collection items. Additionally, multimedia experiences were incorporated to present the story of Camp Grant in an engaging, inspiring, and immersive way.
